Dedicated Members of Your Team

IDS is a talented group of professionals who deliver innovation in product design and development through a true integration of industrial design, engineering, prototyping, and contract manufacturing. Our founding business principle was to put together a development team who could produce creative product designs that were also engineered to be manufacturing ready. We’ve accomplished that goal by taking a collaborative approach across disciplines.

Our Team

Andy

Andy Janetski is a UW-Stout graduate with a B.F.A. in Industrial Design. Working on projects for a variety of markets helps to challenge his skills and push his growth as a designer. His aim is to delight the customer and deliver exciting and innovative products. In his spare time, Andy enjoys cooking and spending time on the lake.

Tyler

Tyler Buchanan is a Product Development Engineer and has been with Integrated Design Solutions for over seven years. When not at work, he enjoys gaming of all kinds – digital and tabletop. He also tends to dabble in a variety of other activities that may have caught his attention for a time. Over the last few years this has included hobby machining, Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects, Astronomy, reading, and Chess.

Jason

Jason is a UW-Stout graduate with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, focused on Manufacturing Technologies.  He is a Wisconsin native who resides with his wife and two children in the Eau Claire area.   Jason has over 20 years’ experience in the product development industry serving a variety of markets including medical, consumer, commercial and defense. His expertise ranges from prototyping and manufacturing processes to strategic sales and customer relationship management.

Jeff

Jeff Pease is a UW-Stout graduate with a B.F.A. in Industrial Design. He joined the IDS team after a short-term position in Madison, WI, following graduation.  Helping on a variety of projects, he continually seeks to expand his product knowledge-base and challenge his design skills. Besides designing, Jeff can be found tinkering with electronics, making tunes with his bass and synthesizer, and exploring the outdoors by foot or by bike.

Stacy

Stacy Olson, Operations Manager, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville. She worked as a credit analyst for Firstar Bank and as a National Bank Examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. She is a co-owner and Operations Manager at IDS.

Joe

Joe was born and raised on a small family farm outside Stanley WI. During his time at UW-Stout, he was a part of several organizations including Phi Sigma Phi National Fraternity, Inter-Greek Council (where he served as President), represented Greek Life in the Stout Student Association, UW-Stout Honors Program and American Welding Society. He was also a Lab Tech for the welding and machining labs on campus. After spending some time working as a Quality Engineer, he accepted a position at IDS as a Mechanical Designer to apply skills learned at UW-Stout. He is most comfortable with working with his hands and loves to see the transition from an idea to a prototype.

Olivia

Olivia is an Eau Claire native and graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree. She is excited to be back in the Chippewa Valley, and enjoys the hands-on prototyping experience and wide variety of projects she gets to see at IDS. When Olivia’s not at work, you’ll find her outside. Whether it’s backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, or snowboarding, she takes every opportunity she can to get outside and enjoy all the seasons, usually with her dog in tow.

Scott

Scott is the president and co-founder of Integrated Design Solutions (IDS) and has over 30 years of product development experience.  Prior to launching IDS, he worked in engineering for a custom injection molding company and in the development of commercial applicator equipment.  His experiences prior to IDS were the motivating factors for our core philosophy of using cross functional teams to drive creativity without losing site of DFM.  Scott is inspired by the creative genius of Frank Lloyd Wright and his “Form and function are one” philosophy.
