Challenge
American Girl is dedicated to creating products, services, and experiences that help boost confidence, ignite creativity, and fuel connections for young girls. They approached IDS to design and produce a doll salon chair to enhance the in-store experiences of the girls and their American Girl dolls.
Approach
An IDS team of designers and engineers collaborated with the American Girl Place team to ensure the resulting chair met their high standards for function and appearance.
Solution
An aesthetically pleasing and durable doll salon chair that allows the hair stylist to perform their work efficiently while engaging girls in a fun in-store experience. IDS produces and supports ongoing maintenance of the salon chairs through our contract manufacturing.
